Our group members has agree to choose 5 Fabulous Action movies as a theme for this assignment. The movies that we have choose are as below;

WONDER WOMAN

Introduction

Prince Diana said: “I used to want to save the world. To end war and bring peace to mankind. But then, I glimpsed the darkness that lives within their light. I learned that inside every one of them, there will always be both. The choice each must make for themselves - something no hero will ever defeat. I've touched the darkness that lives in between the light. Seen the worst of this world, and the best. Seen the terrible things men do to each other in the name of hatred, and the lengths they'll go to for love. Now I know. Only love can save this world. So I stay. I fight, and I give... for the world I know can be. This is my mission, now. Forever.”

One of the movies that we have choose as part of 5 Fab are entitle “Wonder Woman” which was directed by Patty Jenkins. I am impressed with the first taglines that she used in the movie. The taglines impressed me; that make me feel like I cannot wait to watch what’s on the next scene.

First of all, these movie which is Wonder Woman is all about a princess of the Amazon, Diana which was trained to be unconquerable warrior since young age. Before she was a Wonder Woman, she was Diana, the princess of Amazon. Diana was raised on a sheltered island paradise when a pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside worlds. Diana convinced that she able to stop the threat and she left her home. Diana has discover her full powers and her true destiny while she was fighting alongside man in a war in order to end all war. 

In this movie, since Diana young age, she already watches the warrior training on the field under General Antiope (Robin Wright). Since Diana young age, she always wanted to become a fighter like the rest of the Amazon but her mother, Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) forbids her lovable daughter from training. 

As the times goes by, Antiope trying to convince Hippolyta to let her train Diana; wanting Diana to be ready to face Ares, the God of war that was sought to corrupt mankind and lead them to tear each other apart in battle. Through the years, Antiope subjects Diana to harsh and intense training in the field. As Diana reaches adulthood, Diana continues training to be as fierce as the other Amazons. During one session, Antiope pushes Diana hard with her swordplay, leading Diana to defend herself by deflecting the sword with her gauntlets. This causes Antiope to fly back and hurt herself. Diana shows great remorse for hurting Antiope. She leaves in shame, but Antiope is far from upset. In these movies, Wonder Woman is a very focused and purposeful superhero movies. 

In addition, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) is absolutely fantastic and gives one of most sincere superhero performances ever captured on film. She is able to communicate and play her characters thoughts and emotions without words, she has a powerful and commanding presence, she is elegant and intellectual, and she is witty and clever. But at this point in her life she is also naive and does not understand the world as much as she thinks she does. Wonder Woman is a movie that everyone can comprehend and accept that everyone loves to watch it. 

At the end of the movies, everyone celebrates the end of the war. Diana sees a wall of the fallen heroes, including Steve. Back in the present, Diana sends a message to Bruce Wayne, thanking him for the photograph and letting her keep a piece of Steve. Her voice-over then reassures that she will continue dedicating her life to justice. With that, Diana leaps across the sky to continue her work as WONDER WOMAN. 

As conclusion, in my point of view, these action movie are really good and interesting. It shares a messages to the audience that sometimes that action and decision that we take or make will determine what the outcome results and impact to others.

A vicious killer Feng (Wang Bao-qiang) is going round Hong Kong killing top martial arts exponents, leaving a secret weapon called the Moonshadow as his calling card. When convicted killer and kung fu expert, Xia (Donnie Yen), hears of this, he offers to help the police catch the killer, in return for his freedom.

Despite their misgivings, the police release the former police martial arts instructor into their custody. With his help, they realize from the chronological order of the victims that the killer is targeting his victims, all the top masters in their martial arts style, following a martial code of training. 

When Xia also disappears after a close encounter with Feng, they suspect the worse: that the two are accomplices and Feng was the bait to help spring Xia from jail. But Xia has actually gone back to his home in Foshan to find out more about the mysterious calling card. While doing so, he discovers the killer's identity and his motivation: the true philosophy behind martial arts was to kill opponents who were weaker than him.

Steadfastly, Xia refuses to be drawn into a fight with Feng - until the killer threatens the women he loves most. Only then does he realize that he would have to go against the martial code in order to uphold it.

Plot:

The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials film begins with a flashback of Thomas being dropped off by his mother when he is young and taken by Ava Palge and troops of the organization World Catastrophe Killzone Department (W.C.K.D) along with other abandoned children. Many years later, shortly after being rescue from maze, Thomas and other survivors Teresa Agnes, Newt, Minho, Frypan and Winston are taken to the Mr. Janson facility. Mr. Janson explains that the facility is a safe haven protecting them from WCKD, the flare virus and the “Cranks”.  Also that, their also provide clothes, food and sanitation for them along with other survivors of multiple mazes also present. But, not too long after that, Thomas discover that Mr. Jason was working with Ava Palge leader of the WCKD and they discuss about experiments on the immunes and the Right Arm, a resistance group located in the mountain. 

Then, Thomas decided to escapes from the facility along with other survivor including Aris and then they find themselves in the deserted outside world- the scorch. The group arrive at an abandoned marketplace, where they are zombie located by Flare virus. In process to save themselves from the zombie, Winston gets infected and the rest of the members leave him alone to die by shooting himself before his transformation. After that, on one night Minho gets struck by lightning on the way but survives. There, Thomas and other survivor meets with Brenda and Jorge who lead a dangerous band of survivors and use Cranks as their own dogs. But, the place was attack by WCKD led by Mr. Janson, Thomas and Brenda left behind as the rest have escaped with Jorge. Brenda then gets infected by Cranks in the process of escapes from WCKD. Not long after that, Thomas and Brenda reunite with the rest of the group. Jorge interrogates Marcus who secretly works for WCKD into revealing whereabouts of the Right Arm.

After that, the group was successfully arrive at the Right Arm relief camps that led by Vince. As Brenda infection got worse Vince decided to shoot her but stopped by Mary Cooper a former WCKD scientist who reveals that Thomas was their informant. But Teresa was betrayed her group by tells WCKD their location because she believing that WCKD has a good motivations. Ava and Janson arrive and captures the survivors including Minho and Aris, while Janson shoot Mary. After Thomas and the Right Arm fend WCKD troops off, then they retreat. In the end of the film Thomas was determines to take them down to save his friends and the civilization with the Right Arm agree to help him and prepare to fight back.  

Tomb Raider (2018)

Following the disappearance of her father Richard, Lara Croft lives a reckless and carefree

life. When she is arrested after an accident involving a police car, Richard's business partner

Ana Miller posts her bail and warns her that if she does not claim her inheritance, her

father's estate will be sold off. Lara reluctancy accepts and comes into possession of the key

to her father's office. There she finds a pre-recorded message from Richard detailing his

research into Himiko, the mythical Queen of Yamatai who was said to command the power

over life and death. Richard warns Lara decides to investigate further.



Lara travels to Hong Kong where she bribes Lu Ren, captain of the ship Endurance, to sail to

an island believed to have once been Yamatai. The ship capasizes in a violent storm and Lara

is washed ashore where she is knocked unconscious. She is revived by Mathias Vogel, the

leader of an expedition to locate Himiko's tomb that has been funded by the shadowy trinity

orgnisation in an attempt to harness and weaponise Himiko's power. Vogel takes Lara

prisioner, revealing that he killed her father and intends to use Richard's research to continue

his expedition. Lara escapes with the help of Lu Ren, who survived the storm and has been

put to work with the local fisherman digging for Himiko's tomb. She evades capture but is

seriously wounded in the process and passes out from her injuries.





The party navigate a series of booby traps before locating Himiko's sarcophagus. Trinity

soldiers attempt to remove her corpse but become infected by Himiko's power over death, a

virus, and devolve into mindless beings. Vogel kills them and concludes that he cannot

remove Himiko's body and instead settles for removing her tumb, which he seals in a pouch.

In the confusion, Lara and Richard overpower the remaining soldiers. Vogel escapes while

Richard is infected knowing there is no cure, he proposes destroying Himiko's tomb to

prevent the virus spread across the world. Lara give chase to Vogel and traps him in a pit as

the infection takes over. She is rescued by Lu Ren and the fisherman, who hijacks a trinity

helicopter to escape Yamatai.



Lara returns to London, where she formally accepts her inheritance. Using it to investigate

trinity further, she discovers that Trinity's front company is owned by Croft Holdings, and

begins to suspect that Ana Miller is one of their agents who manipulated her into accepting

her inheritance, signing over control of Croft Holding's business operations to her, and

inadvertently delivery Richard's research to Vogel after Richard stopped co-operating.

Seeking to continue her investigation and having witnessed Trinity's ruthlessness first-hand

she prepares for her next adventure to stop Trinity.

The Fast and Furious 8

The fast and furious 8 is a 2017 American action film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan. It is the eight installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. The film stars Vin Diesel as Dom Toretto, Dwayne Johnson as Agent Hobbs. Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Peace, Nathalie Emmanuel as Megan Ramsey, Ludacris as Tej Parker, Kurt Russel as Mr. Nobody, Elsa Pataky as Elena Neves and Helen Mirren as Magdalene Shaw. The Fast and Furious 8 filming location taking place in Iceland, Cuba and New York City. The Fast and Furious is the first Hollywood studio film to shoot in Cuba since the 1960 embargo. The island’s classic car culture makes it an ideal fit for this auto-obsessed franchise. And the most popular street that been use is Havana’ streets at Cuba. 

The Fast and Furious 8 been released to the world in 4 April 2017 in Berlin and 14 April 2017 in United States and the budget to make thus film was 250 million USD and the box office gain 1.236 billion USD. Preparation for Fast and Furious 8 takes place right after release of Furious 7 and the casting took place between April and June 2015. In October 2015, Gray announced to direct the film in the place of James Wan, who had directed the previous installment. I think this movie was quite fabulous because there were many twist and plot happen in this movie between Dom (Van Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) in Fast 1 and then between Dom (Van Diesel) and Agent Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) in Fast 6 and 7 and lastly between Dom (Van Diesel) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in Fast 7 and 8 but in the end they help each other and work together to defeat the criminal. 

Moreover, all the action and skill that the character display in this movie was quite real that you though they were really fighting and all the racing car was really fly and explode. Then, they show the high level skill in using technology that you will never imagine in real life the way they hacking, tracking and using some chip to control technology and cars. I can guarantee that you will give full star rate after watch this movie.  

 

Conclusion    

As conclusion, it is proven that all of the movies that we have choose are the most 5 fabulous movies that every audiences and movie lovers cannot wait to watched all these years. In addition, the five fabulous movies are at the highest rank of most watched.
